Abolition of Himachal Pradesh Administrative Tribunal

G.S.R. 529(E).—Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 4 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 (13 of 1985) and on receipt of the request from the Government of the State of Himachal Pradesh in this behalf, the Central Government has established the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Tribunal with effect from the 30th December, 2014 vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance and Pensions (Department of Personnel and Training), published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 926(E), dated the 29th December, 2014;

And whereas, the Government of the State of Himachal Pradesh, after obtaining the concurrence of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh, has now made a request for abolition of the said Himachal Pradesh State Administrative Tribunal;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 4 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, read with section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (10 of 1897), the Central Government hereby rescinds the said notification number G.S.R. 926(E), dated the 29th December, 2014, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission, with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette of India.
